iconTwinkles

The Twinkles (USASF Levels 1 ) are our Tiny Regional team, consisting of minature athletes 5 years old and younger. This team gives the little ones a chance to get out in front of a crowd and perform their routine. Skills focused on are basic but incorporate the full spectrum of competitive cheerleading. We may not be the most exciting team to watch but definately the cutest.  The Twinkles will practice (2) 1 hour practices per week. For more explaination on USASF Levels, please go to the Forms tab of this website.

iconRockets

The Rockets (USASF Levels  2) are our Mini- Non-national team, consisting of athletes 8 years old and younger. This team moves beyond the basics and progresses the younger ones into the more difficult aspects of competitive cheer.  Skills focused on are novice but are now including a wider range of full spectrum competitive cheerleading. The Rockets will practice (2) 1 1/2 hour practices per week. For more explaination on USASF Levels, please go to the Forms tab of this website.

The Rebels (USASF Level 2 or 3) are our Junior National Team which is an introduction to All-star teams emphasizing basic tumbling, stunting, arm motion technique, and stunts. The Rebels are expected to perform, with proper training, standing back handsprings, front handsprings, running multiple back/front handsprings with back flips as well as strong jumps, motions, and stunt techniques.  The Rebels will make appearances, exhibition, and compete their routines within the Omaha area as well as regionally. (2) Two and one half hour practices per week.  We also encourage individuals to take an extra tumbling class or privates from their preferred instructor. The Mavs (USASF Level 2 Youth) are our future. Athletes ranging in age from 8 years old and younger these kids are exceptional athletes with great skill potential. These team members focus on intermediate level skills, paving their way to a bigger and brighter future for Elite Cheer.  The Mavs will have (2) two hour practices.  An Additional tumbling classes is highly encouraged.  For more explanation on USASF Levels, please go to the Forms tab of this website.

The Ice are a USASF Youth Level 3 skilled team that is quickly becoming a huge success for our program. Due to the fact that children develop at different rates, this program is perfect for the average athlete just realizing their potential, as well as for advanced Athletes who may be coming into the program with previous experience from within the community or those with less than 2 years of cheerleading knowledge.  The Ice will have (2) 2.5 hour practices.  Additional tumbling classes or privates are encouraged.  For information on what USASF Levels are please go to the Forms tab of this website.

Blaze (USASF Level 5 ) is an Advanced Senior Open All-Star available for those athletes whom possess the drive for excellence.  Athletes from 18 years old and younger with a good knowledge of competitive cheer is the make-up of this team.  Blaze athletes will be required to compete standing backs, back handspring backs, layouts, bounders and front to back tumbling, and full twisting layouts along with strong stunting technique.  Above average jumps, motion technique and performance presents will be expected as well.  The Blaze will have (2) 2.5 hour practices and an addition tumbling practice is highly encouraged.  For more explanation on USASF Levels, please go to the Forms tab of this website.

Storms (USASF Levels 2) is a Sr. Intermediate team that competes nationally. Ages range from 18 years old and younger. This team is available for the intermediate members and those getting ready for the advanced level of competition. Most of these athletes have about two years of experience at the competitive level. Warriors (USASF Levels 3) is one of our top Senior teams. Specific advanced level skills are required to make this team. Developed as a senior intermediate/advanced team, these athletes are 18 years and younger. Skills required include but are not limited to standing multiple handsprings, working standing backflips, round off backhandspring backflips, working layouts, standing muliples to backflips, 'mixy' passes, double twisting from any extended stunt, full release pyrmids, double twisting basket tosses, hyper extended jumps, extremely sharp-tight arm motions, and a positive-disciplined-focused mental do what ever it takes attitude. Stars, now the pinnicle of our program - Level 5 Small Senior team.  In the ever growing all-star market, many teams are made up of highly skilled athletes. Elite Cheer will specially select advanced skilled Elite Cheer athletes to compete for the prestigious World Championships.  The Stars are the highest honored team in our program.  It is a USASF Level 5 skilled team that will require triple toe backs, toe fronts, layouts (working fulls), fulls, double fulls, bounders, and other mixi passes.  The Stars will be picked in a special tryout accounting for skills, work ethic, attendance, and coach-ability.  Tryouts will be sometime in May and their practice will be 2 hours three times per week!!  For more explanation of USASF Levels please click on the Forms tab of this website.
